At Busada Family Farm, we're working to rebuild the connection between local farmers and the families they feed because we believe healthy communities begin with healthy local agriculture.
When communities lose the connection between farmers and consumers, they also lose the ability to understand, influence, and support how their food is produced. Modern agriculture has become increasingly disconnected from the people it serves. Food often travels long distances through complex supply chains, and many consumers have little opportunity to know who produced their food or how it was raised.

We raise pasture-raised beef, available in quarter, half, and whole shares, along with whole pasture-raised chickens for families throughout southwestern Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia.

Farming With Purpose—Personal relationships and trust
Our farming practices reflect our commitment to our animals, customers and local community. We raise our cattle and chickens using rotational grazing and regenerative land management that improve soil health and pasture quality. We exclusively feed our animals food that was either raised directly on our farm or produced locally…because that is what is needed to build a resilient local food supply.
We also do not use added growth hormones, antibiotics, and avoid using pesticides because we believe responsible stewardship benefits our animals, our land, and the families who trust us to feed theirs.
